The liquefied natural gas storage tank and the joint pipeline are installed in place, and after passing the acceptance, the preparation work before use is carried out. Storage tanks must be purged with dry nitrogen and pre-cooled with liquid nitrogen before use. The purge pressure should not be lower than 0.2MPa.
Before purging, the joints at both ends of the differential pressure (liquid level) gauge should be loosened, and the combined valve of the differential pressure (liquid level) gauge should be fully opened. Check the exhaust air stream for moisture. If there is moisture, continue to blow until there is no moisture and stop blowing. Tighten the joints at both ends of the differential pressure (liquid level) gauge, and close the balance valve of the liquefied natural gas storage tank, so that the differential pressure (liquid level) gauge is in normal working condition.
Before the storage tank is filled with LNG, the liquid nitrogen or nitrogen gas in the storage tank should be replaced by LNG gas. First open the drain valve to vent the nitrogen, then close the drain valve. Open the exhaust valve, and introduce the LNG gas in the LNG tank into the liquefied natural gas storage tank through the unloading platform. When the pressure in the tank rises to 0.1-0.2MPa, close the exhaust valve, keep it stable for 3 minutes, and open the drain valve to empty. Repeat this 2-3 times to complete the replacement. A combustible gas detector or exhaust gas sampling can be used to do an ignition test to check the degree of replacement.
When filling LNG, it is necessary to pre-cool the liquefied natural gas storage tank or check the previous pre-cooling of the storage tank. The liquid inlet speed should be strictly controlled and the operation should be slow. First slowly open the upper liquid inlet valve, and introduce the LNG in the tank car into the storage tank through the unloading platform. Since LNG is introduced into the storage tank, there is a gasification lagging process, and the speed of pressure rise in the tank and the amount of liquid inflow should be carefully observed. It must be small. When the pressure rises to 0.3 MPa, open the gas exhaust valve to reduce the pressure, and close the upper liquid inlet valve if necessary.
The storage tank is pre-cooled after continuous liquid intake and exhaust. After a period of liquid intake control, the pressure in the tank is stable, and the liquid level gauge shows that there is a certain liquid level in the LNG storage tank, you can gradually open the upper liquid inlet valve and open the lower liquid inlet valve.
