When the winter temperature is low, in order to ensure the stability of evaporation, many LNG vaporization stations will use steam engines to provide steam heat sources to the vaporizer, keeping it in an environment similar to a constant temperature, avoiding the influence of low-temperature air. This method can not only effectively prevent the liquefied natural gas pipeline from freezing, but also ensure the stability of evaporation efficiency.
2.Optimized Installation and Operation Management
The installation location should be chosen in an “Sunlit and Wind-Safe Area”, at least 1.5 meters away from obstructions to ensure air circulation.
In coastal or high-humidity areas, it is advisable to install “Initial Air Filter” to reduce water condensation.
It is recommended to configure “Backup Vaporizers”, switch to using them when the main equipment is severely frosted, and perform defrosting maintenance on the frosted equipment.
3.Parallel Installation and Integrated Piping Design
To enhance stability, multiple vaporizers can be operated in parallel. Each unit can support a flow rate ranging from 10 to 10,000 NM³/h, with a maximum working pressure of up to 35.0 MPa. For environments prone to flammability and explosivity, an integrated steam equipment in a mobile unit can be selected. This integrates the boiler and steam system, facilitating outdoor mobile deployment and enhancing safety.
