Working Principle & Process
The CNG daughter station takes gas from transport trailers and delivers it to vehicles through a complete set of station equipment, including an unloading post, skid‑mounted compressor, storage cascade and CNG dispenser.
It adopts a three-line automatic filling process to ensure stable and continuous refueling:
- Low-pressure priority: Residual pressure gas from the trailer directly supplies vehicle filling.
- Medium-pressure supplement: When trailer pressure is insufficient, the medium-pressure cascade provides gas for refueling.
- High-pressure supply: When medium-pressure capacity drops, the high-pressure cascade takes over the filling work.
- Automatic pressure replenishment: Once the high-pressure cascade pressure falls below 20 MPa (adjustable), the compressor auto-starts to recharge and maintain system pressure.
This multi-stage switching design realizes unattended, stable and efficient CNG refueling operation.
