This is a construction method where the storage tanks, various control equipment, and refueling machines are integrated and installed on a fixed base, and the entire structure is movable. The equipment manufacturer of LNG refueling stations states that a skid-mounted LNG refueling station only requires an LNG tanker to transport LNG as the gas source. The overall size is relatively small, with the total volume of the storage tanks generally not exceeding 50 cubic meters. Compared to the fixed refueling station, it has a simpler process flow, a shorter construction period, lower investment, and is very suitable for transportation by cars. It is flexible and can be moved to any location with refueling needs at any time. Its storage capacity is relatively small and is currently mainly used in emergency situations. This refueling method is currently mainly used in areas with small LNG demand or where conditions for building a refueling station are not available, such as when there are only 10 to 40 vehicles, then a mobile refueling tanker can handle the refueling issue.
3.L-CNG refueling station
It is a dual-purpose refueling station, capable of filling both LNG and CNG. It has strong comprehensive performance. The equipment manufacturer of the LNG refueling station stated that the L-CNG refueling station compresses LNG through a high-pressure liquid pump, vaporizes it, and then refuels CNG vehicles. At the same time, a low-pressure liquid pump can also be used to refuel LNG vehicles. This type of refueling station is based on the LNG refueling station and adds equipment such as high-pressure vaporizers and high-pressure liquid pumps. Compared to a CNG refueling station of the same capacity, the investment and operating costs of the L-CNG refueling station are lower.
